My point is to illustrate people like my friend who upgrade for no reason. Like JMRouse pointed out there are pluses to the new iPhone but despite the fact that my friend was going on about how much he loves his new, upgraded phone, the best he could come up with is that it's lighter? Seriously.
I knew I was gonna get "feedback" based on the fact that if you ever say anything bad or even with the remote connotation of negativity about Apple you end up getting flamed.
Great typical Android fan follow up though. I love people will bitch about not putting an icon in a random section of their screen but are not phased when they have to carry around extra batteries and re-program the damn thing to get it to work properly.
My answer to this is that at least I have the choice to do so when my colleagues were scrambling for chargers when we did those long shifts a couple years back. I had to carry a tiny battery whereas one of my workmates was lugging around a giant external battery pack with her.
We can agree that experiences may differ but the feedback I received from the local Sprint store has me believing my experience is more the norm with EVO.
Maybe. But at the same time, I didn't come in here saying that the Evo is the greatest phone ever. I said that it works for me. I've had no problems with my phone.
My fiancée's macbook charger conked out on her a few months ago. While researching it she found lots of reports of the same thing happening to other people. I guess the "feedback" she received (and shared with me) has me believing the experience "is more the norm with the macbook". Or, you know, it could just be that all electronics have problems. Nah, that would make too much sense. Let's just extrapolate that you had a problem and the one store employee said they had problems so the entire product line sucks. I'll do that next time someone tells me they had to take their phone to the Apple store cause it wouldn't turn on or charge. I've read about enough problems with them to make that assumption.
