Argh. I'm getting frustrated.

I basically never sync or backup my iPhone 4, and rarely update my iTunes software.

Now I have a 5, and I want to backup my 4, either to my iMac or iCloud, and for some reason the damned thing won't backup. I tried the computer backup and it got hung up and froze the damned thing. Then I tried backing to iCloud and it hung up as well - never got anywhere. I let it run all night, I woke up and the phone was hot to the touch and it was still calculating time remaining or whatever.

Fuck me.

Take it to the Apple store. Have them look at it. Not sure what the issue is, but maybe it's a bug?

I don't get the joke here. Part of the function of the Apple Store is to provide technical help and assistance.

Edit: I guess he could also spend some time trying to Google the issue for answers. It's not one I have heard of off the top of my head. Sometimes a hard reset fixes these odd problems, so I would try that too.
