iPhone 5 - Page 11

I have no idea what to make of this. It appears to fall in line with the previous iLounge rumor which I thought was bullshit.

Let's pretend for a second that this latest rumor/leak is real. I'm fine with it. I'd prefer the W/H of the current iPhone, but with less top and bottom bezel, as John Gruber has guessed would be Apple's move this fall.

Having the headphone jack at the bottom of the device is a huge problem for me. I use my iPhone at the gym all the time, especially on elliptical machines, and it would mean having to place the phone on its side. Not the end of the world but I strongly prefer keeping the iPhone upright.

The backplate looks bizarre but not in a bad way. I just hope the leaks/rumors start to become more consistent to one thing. I'd prefer having a good idea of what Apple has in store this fall versus the constant different rumors.

Keep in mind that these are likely prototypes, if real, and may not feature the finished design or materials. Also it seems a little early for a leak this big if they are launching in the fall.

The base configuration is fairly packed. Might be able to get away without jacking the price up with upgrades.

I do wonder how that screen will be for gaming. No way you will be able to run much at that resolution.

Yeah i don't need anything feature packed. or with i7 or anything like that. Just a base model 13 in would do the trick for me.

Holy shit... Apple just saved QR codes from a likely death. laugh.gif

EDIT: Official turn-by-turn navigation built into Maps. Finally! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

My hopes of a redesigned multi-tasking method have been crushed, but not a bad update overall. Hopefully Apple puts some thought into some needed UI overhauls next year.

Yep! that is the only thing i was really looking forward to. Apple being ballsy and breaking off from Google.

In the back of my mind I was hoping they'd announce the new iPhone or just give a teaser pic.

EDIT: Just waiting on some hands on impressions to hit with the new Macbook Pro. That's one sexy looking laptop.

Doesn't prove anything, it's probably just parts from some Chinese Android phone. There's enough of them things around.

It's based on Google's own numbers they themselves released. How can you say it doesn't prove anything?

There is no iPhone 5 nor will there be. The next phone will actually be the 6th iPhone so they won't call it iPhone 5.

No way the maps app is not released for all phones that support iOS 6. The beta is out now and runs on them.

...as I said I think it might be case parts from some Chinese Android phone, there's a heck of lot of them around. The Apple logo and "iPhone" is probably just photoshopped.
