Those CdG pics are really amazing. Still don't like Lumps and Bumps, but there's plenty of other stuff to admire from Rei. Though I think the men's is never anywhere near as good as women's with her. Also, I think Kate Moss in CdG kinda brings it down. Hah.

Introducing: cloth of stillness

There is war in the heart of nature. The land contends with the sea, the air with the fire, harmoniously switching from life to death. Through time, the man has obscured his own eyes; he has locked himself into a mental prison, becoming unable to see the direct truth of beauty. He cuts any relationship with his inner side and he forgot to where he belongs.

Inspired by Buddhist dharma and yoga, cloth of stillness reflects on the totality of human being, aiming to establish a dialogue with his original essence through something that is always in contact with his body and skin: the clothes. A non-dual appreciation of both natural and man made fibers put emphasis on fabrics, which are both light and compassionate to the sense organs. The sublime quality of the weaves and knitting structures produces timeless and aseason pieces, that overcomes any gender connotations. Spirals and anatomical seaming, combined with a carefully studied cutting technique, make the worn an all one with the wearer. The creative mind behind the brand, kien chu, sets his research into the gap between stillness and movement, looking for a space of ever greater freedom through the templates of body/heart/mind. This space is explored by him in all its angles, using a deeply contemplative approach to design, which is perfectly reflected in the holistic and timeless aesthetic of cloth of stillness.

As a bird hovering in the air, the man goes over the narrowness of thought, freely floating in the emptiness of the sky. An intrinsic stillness between him and his cloth is now revealed. Unhindered, he opens again to the totality of being within the rhythmic flow of existence.

For some reason a Swedish budget chain loosely built around Cheap Monday (and a few other brands) have started carrying Christophe Lemaire. Looked at some of it today and it was seriously nice.

Further down on this link is everything they have at the moment:

If you have any questions about it I'd be happy to try to answer them. They also have an interview with him:

Cloth of stillness looks great shah. Really love the silhouette of that first outfit with the shredded cardigan, has the androgynous vibe of InAisce while looking a lot more wearable to me.

When stuff like this happens I wish I lived in CPH again and could make a day-trip to Malmø for cheaper clothes

Don't have time right now to post pics, but the Siki Im show was great. Definitely my favorite from him yet. Sooo much better than those preview images that were floating around. Even liked the Tevas, though not sure about the socks.

they were too tight on me, thought it would be ok but didn't feel comfy frown.gif had to go tts i guess

you should do it , and *subliminal messaging* would go perfect with those drawpcrawtches you're going to order *subliminal messaging*
new version also looks great, much more refined so it looks like normal high tops except upon closer inspection still has the lacing system. the all black and more smoothed design pair nicely with trousers which is how the SAs were rocking in the boutique. where have you seen the old ones lately ??

needs more tattoos. ;-)

I like these two looks, esp the minimalist bomber. I was looking forward to checking out the fall stuff, but my local Barneys stopped carrying him.

I like this Plokhov collection much more than any recent one. I wonder if it will still be so slim that you have to size up two just to get into it.
