Well, if brothers swap clothing as per sisters ... you know which trousers I want to borrow.

Right after you get that crop report, Mortimer.

Unicorns are fascinating and i like them also but the Moghul prints are even more interesting to me as I lived in Hyderabad in India for two years as a boy.
My mothers house in Arizona is filled with hand painted Moghul paintings.
One thing that has held me back from tapestry/painting type pocket squares is sizing. We are a bespoke maker and I like the option of providing different sizes for our clients.
I suppose that in the interest of art (and collecting) we could do a set size of say 15 or 16 inches.
Maybe we could do a solid border that would allow some flexibility in sizing?
All thoughts, comments and suggestions are welcome.
If this works out smoothly we would likely do a series of art pocket squares.

If you make them on the larger size, 16 inches or so, put me down for one of each.

I am really disappointed by the fact that drake's claim their pocket squares are hand rolled when in fact the stitching is done by a machine.
Maybe they are 'hand rolled'. However, they are not 'hand' stitched.
You'd think the price would at least reflect some handwork.

The fabrics are beautiful though, but still overpriced.

p.s Yes all mine bar 2 were acquired from Goswell Rd and bought at either clifford street, online or, lately, at the factory shop at the end of my street.

Ours are hand-rolled and hand-stitched and hand-cut and hand-everything. The only things that aren't hands are scissors, needle and thread.

I'm pretty sure the most I paid for a PS was $20. Really it just sits in your pocket and it's a piece of cloth. Then again I"m a cheapskate.

and since you are a cheapskate :) would you actually search for ebay or amazon to get the best deal? or would you rather go to the high street to get and try one before you buy?

For myself, it's nothing to "try on" it's a piece of cloth that sticks out of your pocket and doesn't serve a purpose other than to add to the outfit. I buy them anywhere and everywhere really. I don't see why men would spend money on something like this, but then again this is SF and it's supposed to be real life :D

youre probably putting too much thought into this. that said, you should make sure you get one that has a bit of heft to it and isnt a glorified napkin (ie, avoid the tiebar)

some companies go out of their way to source interesting fabrics
some companies finish with a hand rolled edge some just use a baby hem

I just find what ever is sitting around that looks nice
one of my girls takes them home and cuts them and finishes with a baby hem
clean the threads, give it a press and Voila a pocket square/handkerchief
700

hence the $10 price at my sample sale!
