0 - they're all in neighborhood dogs.

FWIW, as I just landed two "bricks" of .22LR from Walmarts, I probably have about 2000 rounds at my house.

If you own five firearms, I'd consider you negligent if you only had 100 rounds of ammo. Hell, I probably have more of that in calibers I don't even own guns for anymore. I can't even begin to fathom how many .22LR rounds I have stashed away.

This, uh, guy I know bought tens of thousands of bullets when metal prices started going up years ago. Not loaded cartridges, mind you, just the projectiles.

I have not counted but I am sure I have over 5,000 rounds of assorted ammo. Plus I also reload some of my brass so I guess that means I manufacture weapons of mass destruction.

Edit - Also I bought of bunch of the Remington sabots when they were available.

These are really fun to shoot. Virtually no recoil, even in 30-06. Of course they were discontinued because they don't leave rifling marks on the bullet so you could shoot someone and the cops wouldn't be able to match it to the rifle. But everybody knows you wanna kill someone you do it with a bolt action deer hunting rifle.

I need to get a simple reloading setup going. The prices of .223 and .45 these days make me ffffuuuu.gif.

My supply is dangerously low. I bought 6000 rounds of 22, and I'm almost out. I just can't justify the 8-10 cents they have been when I bought last time for <5.

Shouldn't they ban shotguns for the same reason?

The Accelerators weren't banned, just enough pressure applied to Remington for them to discontinue.

Last time I watched Law & Order they were magically able to match the shot pattern for a shotgun and convict some poor schmuck. So now everybody in the government that gets their science from Hollywood thinks that's flawless science.

Silencers are legal in many states.

I am pretty sure they are illegal here without a super expensive permit/tax stamp much like fully automatic weapons.

There is a process you have to go through to get one and you are the registered owner. You also have to pay a tax fee.

Mrs. Piob and I went to the range first thing this morning. She suggested we stop at the Wal-Mart along the way just to see (it was 7:15). We really scored. They limit you to three boxes per person so we each got three. Another guy was there and he laughed saying it was genius to bring your wife and double things if you're lucky enough to find them.

Yeah, Minnesota is one of the black states on the map. We join NY, NJ, Vermont, and CA.
