It was painful. The entitlement was just galling. I mean, there's a discussion you could have about donating to rich schools vs less well endowed schools, but turning into a race discussion was just awful. They did everything short of calling him an Uncle Tom.
I heard that one, but it's not even in the top ten. My favorite recent one was where she interviewed some guy who had a "that's racist" blog, where he just randomly slandered people and things by calling them racist. And she had him on the show, for some reason. The best part was when he was going on about how his schtick was mostly tongue in cheek, but if you didn't like it, well, you're a racist for real. Most of the show is devoted to racial and feminist grievances, whining about unfulfilled racial or sexual quotas, or bragging about the surging minority population and telling the audience how they're going to take what's "theirs" through redistributive politics and that you shouldn't "resent" it.
Martin actually sounds smart and thoughtful most of time, but she has these occasional adlibbed outbursts that make you wonder whether she's reading from cards for most of the show. Like in the clip above when someone mentions Obama's peace prize. It happened a lot during her Zimmerman coverage.
I really wish my local right-wing radio station hadn't switched to a damned sports show in the early afternoon.
