I use it as frequently as possible to confuse and put off balance those of granolier stripe. I also like to use "teaching moment" to excuse GOP scandals, offering to have a "conversation."

Bumper stickers are fun too. Criticism of Sara Palin, Michelle Bachman, Monica Crowley, Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkine? "Well behaved women rarely make history." biggrin.gif

I also like to invoke that old favorite, "Question Authority" when speaking of the Obama government.

I can't figure out why young men like Trayvon are profiled.

Oprah Winfrey can eat a super-sized bag of dicks. What a disgusting, grossly inaccurate, and unnecessarily inflammatory/provocative thing to say.

While promoting her new movie “The Butler,” Oprah Winfrey told The Grio that the death of Trayvon Martin was the “same thing” as the lynching of 14-year-old Emmett Till for allegedly flirting with a white woman in 1955, National Review Online first reported.

“Let me just tell you — in my mind, same thing,” she said in a preview of the interview on MSNBC.

I would call that a racist lynching, but the victim was a crazy ass cracker.

I don't get all the criticism of the bus driver. The man is sixty-four years old. Was he supposed to take on all three kids himself?

Don't you remember the Trayvon "swung on a bus driver" tweet?

Agreed. If he did anything, if he'd have touched those thugs, he'd be in jail, out of a job, and facing a lawsuit. That deputy is 45 years behind the times.

People who have never been in a fight in their life seem to think that anybody over 18 should automatically be able to handle anybody under 18. They are "children," after all.

I'm not sure what we gain here from being intentionally obtuse.

But yeah, you knew that I was referring to black teens. Trayvon's age was the foundation on which his supporters attempted to build a case of innocence (he was just a harmless little kid) - and the truth is black men that fall into Trayvon's age group commit murder and other violent crimes at an alarming rate.

Every "race" has those aged below 18 convicted for stuff brutal enough to close the cage for the rest of thier lives. Everyone knows this yet it doesn't sell newspaper adds.

People like Oprah should take two seconds for thought before opening thier mouths, what a world we would be in if everyone did this. The end of this story is clearly Z and T are just poster boys for people to stir shit from high above the masses, nothing even close to new here.

So the comment was about profiling of kids who swing on bus drivers? I guess I misread what was being suggested.

Are you suggesting I should read all the posts before jumping into a conversation?

I wasn't so much being intentionally obtuse as clarifying whether you were actually saying what you seemed to be implying -- rather than just assuming that was the case. You obviously made a choice in your initial post not to just say, "is it any wonder young black men get profiled?"
