I'm not partial to nor do I inherently believe any major news networks' coverage but CNN's panel on AC360 had some interesting analysis last night between Mark Geragos and Sunny Hostin that became quite humorous when Ms. Hostin said something quite obviously biased and convenient to the Martin case at which point Geragos made a suggestion to tune into the "Hysterical Ladies Network" (HLN obviously). Guess you had to be there but some of Geragos' off-the-cuff bs cracks me up.

Gib did you make that? I'm not sure if this should be as funny as I'm finding it. shog[1].gif

Ok I'm new to the thread but been following this case since the false narrative first broke. Everything about it is absolutely disgusting. At this point, I'd rather see some riots than the rule of law blatantly ignored and trampled over.

Yeah, what the fuck do fans of Arsenal F.C. have to do with anything?

Stolen shamelessly from Reddit (where it was probably stolen from 4chan).

If people riot, they all need to carry Skittles so if they get shot, we can just loop right back to stage 1 and start over.

I really don't think Zimmerman's animation is effective.

Instead of having some kind of cut or transition, the figures just jump from one place to another. George is on bottom? Now he's instantly on top! At least do a black screen in between or something.

Don't forget the fruit juice. You can't make Syzurp without it.

Ah, he broke out a stop watch. That's effective!

I mean, it's gimmicky, but effective. Four minutes to sit there and think. "That's how long Trayvon had to run..."

The jury instructions -

http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2013/07/12/201410108/read-instructions-for-the-jury-in-trial-of-george-zimmerman?ft=1&f=1003

After reading the instructions and keeping up with the trial, I think that anyone that would find Z guilty would do so strictly by bias and "community pressure".

An "OJ" jury would convict Z. I do not think this jury will. They might hang but I cannot see a unanimous guilty verdict.

Remember what I said about the "demographics" of the jury. I still think that is one of the keys, if not the key to the verdict,

Very early on I said this is not a simple case of self defense because Z was following M and there was some degree of malice in what he said on those 911 tapes. Personally I don't think what he said was racially motivated at all. To me he sounds like someone who was just frustrated with the crap going on in his neighborhood and that's it. As far as I'm concerned it takes a special breed of asshole to run this up as some kind of racially motivated crime.

The thing that really bothered me was whether or not Z actually broke off his following of M or not. Evidence says he did and he was waiting for the police to arrive. It appears and evidence supports this that M then came back around, a fight ensued and according to evidence M went for the gun while verbally threatening to kill Z while on top of him. M had the ability, opportunity and the jeopardy to Z's life was clearly evident. IMO the three elements of when the use of deadly force is justified was clearly there. Like it or not M bought and paid for his actions with his life. In that regard all I'll say is tough shit. This isn't some video game, this is what happens in real life.

Zimmerman isn't guilty of a crime. He might be an idiot but that's about it. What is a crime IMO is how the media and certain groups are spinning this up and out of control. This whole court fiasco needs to be looked at as well. Trials for the sake of political correctness and used in the hopes of quelling threatened riots? WTF, let them riot and then send in the military er I mean the cops to deal with it.

Amen to this.

Did you happen to see the former Sanford Police Chief, whose career was ruined because of PC?
