I will go on the record and say that Martin deserved to die.

(assuming that things went down as Zimmerman says they did.)

Honestly I can't help but think that a lot of people have to believe Zimmerman is guilty at this point, because otherwise they would have to face the fact that they tried to (and maybe succeeded in) hounding an innocent man into prison. I think that explains a lot of the fancy amateur lawyerin' that a lot of people are doing.

However, to the extent Z was acting in self defense, it was only because he initiated the fatal encounter. The extreme example is the kid who kills his parents and then asks for mercy because he's an orphan.

Yes. If you were faced with a kidnapping, would you not try to fight back with all of your power?

So Z was trying to kidnap T?

Inconsistencies degrade the credibility of an already demonstrated liar and killer, lending REASONABLE DOUBT to a claim of self-defense

are you posting those quotes to illustrate the idiocy of those arguments or are you cosigning those quotes?

So apparently Florida has firearms enhancements that could increase the minimum penalty to 25 years when somebody is shot. Can that still be applied to Z's agg assault charge?

Edit: oh. No aggravated assault sought by the prosecutors despite speculation.

Each sentence taken on its own is pure gold.

Take a look at any of my others posts in this thread and take a guess.

I think they knew they'd get backlash from the race baiters if they only got Agg Assault.

The definitive opinion,

I'm not saying I think #Zimmerman is innocent--but it's a day late & dollar short to come in with a new legal theory #ZimmermanTrial

amerikkkans has always had a backward and ignorant culture with people who have racism and homophobia as their only reason for living. Faux news, rush limpdick, romshit and annie, michelle bachman, rubio, and on and on in the rethug and tea parties. They are the outward manifestations of a very diseased system. I grew up in the south in the 50's and part of the sixties. Attitudes come and go in amerikkka but racism endures with a sickening vengeance as evidenced by the murder of this unarmed 17 year old.

I've always thought the "Faux News" thing is particularly stupid.
