1) I have no idea what it means to not be guilty of murder 2 (I mean, I know what it means, but "Law & Order" never goes in depth with explanations.)
2) You are yet to deliver on your other tomato pies.

Noted and accepted.

But if it's true, don't you hate Lawyers too?

How can they call people to claim they didn't witness something? Just because 300 million people didn't hear a guy say something to someone else doesn't mean he didn't.

It bombed badly. Who would have guessed that telling a joke centered around a trial that involves a dead teen was a bad move?

There's no situation that can't get worse by the presence of the police.

I've never called the cops. And I never will.

A knock-knock joke no less. I mean if he had made fun of pollacks or the jews he would have been fine.

Maybe it's a strategy. Are they going to remember anything else from the opening statements in a month when this trial's over?

OK, so I read a little about it and the prosecution apparently did mention Martin's girlfriend, though it was apparently brief.

I guess they're not planning on making their best witness the central part of their case for some reason...

So here's the video of the opening statements if you missed it.

Does anyone think the prosecutor's melodramatic rhetoric is effective?

"Is your refrigerator running?"
"Yes."
"Let it run, we don't need you to follow it."
