You win. Come to Houston,Texas where St Arnolds is brewed and you will be paid.
I still think there will probably be a hung jury. If a verdict is rendered ( either way, if he walks or is convicted ) I'll buy you a 6 pack, and St Arnolds is good stuff
Lawyers are devious bastards, on both sides. Do you think there is any possibility that the State and Judge Nelson realized that Z had been way overcharged, so they are preparing for a possible acquittal by allowing a jury to be seated that might conceivably acquit, and then the prosecution can say "we tried, but that jury was not going to convict"?
I still think the jury make up is key. If there were 3 black jurors and 3 white jurors it would certainly be a hung jury IMO. Now there is a chance for a verdict and I think that it leans toward an acquittal or a hung jury. But I am not a devious bastard, so what do I know.Edited by rnoldh - 6/21/13 at 10:05am
