There's a difference between reviewing a contract and.... going through it voluntarily or had a renewed, somewhat entertaining review ... which was implied in your post.

As to the pitcher or catcher, I'd rather not be in the game.

I'm easily the most straight-edged boring person here. Not lame, though.

Quality post here. FYI, you are lame.

I spent of bunch of time working on my Jeep this weekend. I was in the driveway with the garage door open the entire time, listening to non-death metal music the entire time. No one shot at me, nor did they threaten to put a lien on my home.

I'll probably be out there again this coming weekend, doing a good bit more work on the Jeep. She needs an oil change and a tire rotation, and I have some odds and ends to fix up. Plus, I need to make sure I can get the kiddie seat in there safely. If I'm going to DD it, it needs to be tip-top.

The real work is going to come when I get the new tire carrier bumper. I might have to call some friends over to help install that one. There'll definitely be beer.

Of course, I always clean up when I'm done, and it annoys me to no end that my neighbor doesn't even bother to keep their grass cut regularly.

You would have been given 15 days to come into compliance prior to your first fine.

As far as the shooting: were you wearing a hoodie? If not, this is to be expected.

OH NO. There are people LIVING in these houses around me! They're making NOISE and DOING THINGS! We can't have that, no sir.

I kid, but this is how your HOA is coming off.

Excellent! It's working.

(I also might have been joking but it's hard to recognize that when you have a stick up your ass, which is doubly funny, as I feel this is how you're trying to portray me.)

You listen to Rush, have a penchant for death metal, and don't care about kids playing basketball. You're not the problem here. cheers.gif

As a general point, there's nothing wrong with someone working on his or her car during daylight hours on the weekend, cleaning up when they're done, and not being a general pain in the ass. If someone in any neighborhood would complain about this, they're the ones with sticks up their asses for needing to be so insulated from any goings on in the world.

Why not change the thread title to "Did HOA have a part in Trayvon's killing?".

That actually is a sub-text in the media narrative.

Nope. And even if I was that wouldn't make me necessarily incorrect.

As we know, the family is currently lining them up for a big fat civil lawsuit, and there have been various editorials expressing that HOAs create an "us vs. them" type mentality which can lead to events like this. /shrug

Srs move next to me. On the west side. I have 1 and a half jeeps for parts in my garage. And my eastern neighbor has a pool and a teen daughter. With friends.

Also, Piob, it appears we won't ever be neighbours, but I would still very much like to drink with you. Can we meet on neutral ground? Like say a bar or a laundromat?
