killing Trayvon - Page 105

If his lawyer is good, he might be able to get the "stand down" excluded, since it's of questionable relevance at best. Not that anyone hasn't heard it by now.

Was listening to CNN this morning and Soledad, god bless her heart, talked about the "police" telling him to "stand down." Whoever she was interviewing (could not see as was listening on radio) corrected her and said she needs to stop saying a 911 dispatcher is a police officer. laugh.gif

SOledad isn't particularly bright or good, IMO.

Also, matthew, for more info on RT, go here. http://www.styleforum.net/t/196386/alyona-mikovski/

The most ridiculous thing about it is that even if it were an order from a police officer and not a suggestion from a 911 dispatcher, it still doesn't really mean anything. Unless Florida has declared martial law, you aren't under any obligation to obey orders from the police if you aren't breaking any other laws.

That thread has Atlanta written all over it.

If someone, teen or not overpowered me and started bashing my head on the concrete and it was a decision to take his life to get home to my wife and kids and not possibly die from a cracked skull, I'm going to live.

Over 1500 posts in this thread and literally no one had made these points prior. Thank God you guys chimed in or we never would have been exposed to these groundbreaking perspectives!

Uh, guys, I see your point, but your lack of understanding regarding Florida's demographics is showing. He's going to have trouble finding a more "redneck" venue in Florida than Sanford/Orlando. One thing is for certain, Tally would not be more hospitable in that regard than where he is now.

Good thing because that's really vital to the case.

It's badly written, but the first degree requires premeditation.

Wow, that's quite a statement and she must be some kind of woman to say it.
