Mad Men Season 5 - Page 41

^ I think we are thinking about this too literally. If anything, it was symbolic that he was being propositioned by a woman who looked like Megan's friend who said she would sleep with someone for a part.

He'll do it considering he just found out his new wife is the same little girl who needs tobe cared for that his old wife was. And the fact she uses her maiden name professionally doesn't help.

I think the resemblance is coincidental. The point is that the women in the bar were hot.

...AND hitting on Don. Temptation has been place before him yet again.

Yeah, that girl didn't look like the other one except for being blonde. Girl at the bar was clearly hotter than the actress friend...although its hard to tell from the tiny picture.

Whoa, slow down now....

Not the best photo comparison, but let's compare:

263

192

459

Also, for anyone interested, the actress who played Megan's friend is Emily Foxler.
Foxler is appropriately monikered...

Yeah, Foxler is way hotter than the bar chicks. Don will definitely revert to his old ways. It was always just a matter of time. He's a douche...can't change that. I watch the show for Roger.

i suppose we will have to wait and see what the Don does.......but that look he gives her is like the look a Wolf gives a lamb!!

I know they're not the same girl, I was comparing them in terms of hotness.

So did Don sleep with the girl?

Also, anyone think this is how life was with Betty when they started married life?

I'm sure that's unique.

The madame tried to send him to a gay brothel.

While it was on we saw shots of most of the partners, and the lyrics go on to say, "one life for yourself, and one for your dreams". They all need the agency (or what it can provide) to live their dreams. The agency itself is a reincarnation. And is apparently about to evolve again. And, YOLT is a nice, moody, period-accurate song.

Also, in the book, the line is, "You only live twice -- once when you're born and once when you look death in the face." Which fits with Lane's suicide (and the vision of Don's brother).

I will miss Draper as the centre of morality though.
