Thought I'd give the thread a start. The promotional images are out.

I'm not very good at copying the image tags into a post, but it looks like Draper is wearing a pocket square again. Cooper is back so I reckon he didn't really quit.

January Jones looks older. Christina Hendricks looks about the same and shows that she looks good in this era's clothing (unlike her red carpet attire).

Even if no time elapsed from the end of last season, it's still the middle of 1965. I have to think one day the white shirt, dark suit, narrow lapel and skinny tie look goes away?

Unfortunately, I'll be on the bloody plane when the two hour premiere happens. There are not many clues the cast and creator gave about the show but apparently Weiner thought Draper and the ex-wife ought to be back together. The Draper "son" got replaced with another child actor for the umteenth time.

But there are a lot of things that could or could not happen - Draper's marriage to the secretary, Joan's baby (can't imagine her being a mother), the mentor-mentee relationship between Draper and Peggy, whatever Sterling is up to after the loss of Lucky Strike, Sterling tiring of his wife, etc.

For some reason the past two seasons I've lost a lot of enthusiasm for the show. Will still watch it but I can't say I'm particularly excited.

Some other promo shots

You can definitely tell that it's the mid-60's based off of Betty's look.

I've waited so long for this season, I'll be glued to my tv on Sunday.

I would agree for Season 3. After the British/American contrasts, it seemed to go into this introspective loop especially with the father in law character. But Season 4 I thought was stellar. I have revisited some of the episodes for Season 4. Coming off of watching Upstairs Downstairs or Downton Abbey, I have to admit the writing for Mad Men is unusually clever. Double irony when Peggy asked whether Freddy's wife was coming to the Christmas party after an argument, he said, "She wouldn't miss it." Most of The Suitcase episode was stellar too.

I was a little down on Season 3, until the very last episode, which was so stellar I think it saved the entire season for me.

Draper is wearing a pocket square again! Meagan is how I wish female colleagues dress.

The Draper birthday party is colourful. Even Sterling didn't come in a suit much less a three piece. At least some folks wore ties. If it was held in Season 1, or even the garden party, I'm sure half the attendees come in dark suits and ties.

Sorry Cooper is in a suit
