I have poor vision - will I be able to buy these glasses?

There are different materials they can use for the lenses now, some are very thin regardless of your prescription. They can get very $$.

The coke bottle look is more pronounced on round frames.

What is your correction? I'm pretty myopic (average -6 between the two eyes), and these:

Have negligible thickness at the edge. They overlap the wire frame a mm or two. You got to specify high index lenses (1.67 or 1.7), though.

Poaster above is mistaken. The rounder the shape, the less visible a strong correction will be. It's the corners where that shit sticks out.
