Others with G&G may be able to help, but from what I've read G&G and EG (specifically the 888) have a grossly similar fit. Good luck!
Aha, many thanks for your help!

D, I'm guessing you wear Uk 6.5 in most EG lasts and a uk7 in the 888?

Interestingly, I wear UK6.5E on all the EG I own (888, 82, & 33). All fit well around the ball (which is where I typically have trouble with some brands) although I have maybe a little bit of space when I wear very thin summer socks but when wearing my regular socks, they are just right.

You have to size up for the 888? About to branch out and try Vass soon?

I take same size in all lasts. My Galways (82 last) are actually 1 size smaller (11uk) but because the shaft is unlined, I fit without any consternation.

Vass is the next shoe frontier! I'm realizing how much more difficult it is to size, especially when compared to EG and GG

Unless you take a trip to Budapest, it's definitely tricky. I tried going to Bergdorf a few months ago but they stopped carrying Vass. Thinking of having a pair done. I'm going with the U and size 40 (which equates with US 7/UK 6). for me, I'm thinking of a simple style for the first one and I'll see how it goes. You're thinking about a Budapester right?

Still waiting to hear back from Michael at Bespoke, I think he's on vacation. It's delaying my Wigmores. :)

I've been wanting to get the same for a while. Have you found them RTW? I only know of them MTO at the moment.

I believe they are only MTO, but will perhaps swing by Saks at some point in NY just in case they have them to try on. I dig the casual, vintage look they have. Thinking Dark Oak with a 1.5 sole plus storm/fudge welt on the 202 last. Nice and classic.

Last time I was there (I think 3-4 weeks ago), they did not have any type of boots. They had the Dover, Westminister, and I think 3 or 4 other shoes. If you go and they start putting EG on sale, let me know! :)
