I'm not entirely sold on single sole Dover either (although it's still a pretty shoe). HAF suits the model very well IMO

For each to their own, it's all a matter of personal preference. Some prefer the more robust look of the Dover on HAF soles and other's the sleeker look of the Dover or Ecton on the single sole.
I personally love the Dover on a single sole, so much so that all future Ecton's or Dover's I order shall feature a single sole.
