Thanks guys! I ordered them last night. Thrilled they had my size and hopefully know I will know for sure how the 82 fits my fit.

Awesome, Ryden. Let's get your EG sizes nailed down so we can start ordering some makeups!

Just remember that most people feel as though the 82 last on a boot fits larger than on a shoe. For example, I sized down in my Galways by half a size compared to my Chelsea and Wells.

I have a strange feeling that Ryden is going to sticking primarily with boots. Save for a pair or two of Dovers...

Ok, so my first experiment with EG sizing was unsuccessful. Luckily Skaok offers to make stock models in any size, without MTO charges. So a dark oak Westminster is in my future, and i hope i can use my same TG73 size of 10.5 G width for this EG 888 last. I tried the 11 F on the 82 last, and the toe box was great, but the instep & heel were too voluminous. I'm hoping the 10.5 G width will reduce those two areas a bit.

It is sad that it's still so easy for me to waste so much money at this stage of sartorial knowledge. I considered that even if i go to, lets say Leffot (which requires a flight), they will more than likely not have G width models for me to try first, so they will also have to make an estimated guess based on my foot measurements. The best shot would be for me to attend some kind of EG trunk show (or visit their store in England), and have them size me themselves. As i write this, it seems to me that i should just hold off on EG until such a scenario presents itself. WHY MUST PROPER SHOE SIZING ELUDE ME SO?! #iGentProblems

I feel your pain, brah. I think that an EG Trunk Show would be your best bet, if you're not traveling to the UK in the near future.

Why must Florida be such a sartorial wasteland?! Is there a list of EG trunk shows for this year somewhere? I might plan my vacation around it, as i was planning to go to NY anyways...

I know the show at Leffot already happened. I'm hoping another pops up somewhere soon, also.

Not that I know of. But I am sure that if you contact EG through enquiries@edwardgreen.com then they should be able to give you a list of confirmed dates for the US.

Would you be kind enough to post the reply once you get it?
