Thanks to skoaktiebolaget and Gabriel, I will have a pair in 4 to 5 months!

I agree. I have three pair of Falkirk.

Dark oak/almond country; Black/grey; and just got a pair in burnt pine. All on the 82 last. A simply fabulous shoe and, as you said, the ultimate brogue.

DOak Dover on 606

Very nice. I need to get a pair in DOak. Have them in Edwardian on the 606 and wore them the other day and thought pretty much that they are my favorite shoe also.

Thanks! Yea, I definitely need at least one more pair. Not sure which route to go color/material-wise. I was originally going to go country calf. I still might... but all the CC I'm interested in may be too close in color to these. Especially since I am not interested in Almond CC.

I got my first EGs, Chelsea DOak on D82 (pre-owned). Got two compliments on first wear - from my jeans and baseball cap wearing co-worker and from a hip-hop-t-shirt wearer at a gas station. There's definitely something special going on when an ostensibly "boring" shoe like a brown captoe bal gets noticed!

Nice choice for your first EG. I'm sure I speak for us all when I say "post some pics". Congrats!

Beautiful back heel ... I really like those drawings on the back of the shoe.
