You're likely to score 'country' at Trickers and C & J primarily. You'll know that though.

EG will give you a luke warm welcome but if you put the charm on she will warm to tepid!. Lobbs will give you a charming experience but rarely country. That said all shoes are marked up differently price wise and you may win through.

I'm down once or twice a month so if you need a steer just shout.

LOL Namor, I also felt that way once when I called them and spoke on the phone but to be honest when I have been on the sale days the lady helping me was really very nice and helpful.

Guys, I've extended this pre-order until Friday because we had some technical difficulties with Amex at the moment, we're working on it.

Im planning to buy a par of Edward Green Dover in the 606 last, the problem is that i havent tryed it out and doesent know how it fits my foot but the 888 last with f width fits very nice. Is it anyone who have both the 888 last and 606 that can give me some wisdom words?

I have a Dover on the 606 last and a Peyton (Edward Green for Ralph Lauren) on the 888. While the 888 seems slightly more snug than the 606, both fit well. For what it's worth, I also have a number of EGs on the 82 last and they fit well too.
So, for me at least, the 3 lasts each feel a bit different but are equally comfortable.
I hope this helps.

Do you use the same size and width on all lasts?

Yes, 8.5E in all 3 lasts with great results. That consistency, plus the quality of construction, is why EG is my favourite shoemaker.
