Regarding fit, I am a US 7D and I wear 6.5E in the 82.

Thanks for the info. Was I correct then in my assumption of the 82 last, to go down a half size from my US size? Does the 82 last have ample room in the toe box? I've never pulled the trigger on EG before so I'd like to be pretty sure of the fit before I drop $1100

If it helps I wear the same size across EG lasts with the exception of going up a width on the 82. You also have the option of a full leather insole which can eat up some room.

Beautiful, if I were to buy a Alderley boot this is the one I would go for! Thanks for sharing

Count me as interested

I came across these EG Weymouths via the Leffot blog the other day and apparently they were an EG MTO through Leffot back in 2010. Did one of you guys get these particular shoes MTO? All I can say is, wow. These just blew me away. How much does a MTO go for these days through a vendor?

Ouch, ouch, ouch, what colour is that? Edwardian antique? That's the kind of colour I would like to see the Alderley in - though these are insanely nice as well :slayer:

Looks about right. I'm still in need of Edwardian in my EG collection. I'm thinking of saving a pair of Shannons for that though. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Those appear to be Edwardian antique. Very nice.

I have these three in the lighter shades of brown:
EG Walcot in Edwardian Antique
EG Belgravia in Chesnut Antique
EG Dover in Almond Country Calf

While I like all 3, and do not regret buying any of them, they are not nearly as versatile as dark oak or bronze antique IMO.

So do you have the Galway too?
So I moved my Islays and these came in... should I keep them? They're not like those fancy dark oak versions but these are a little bit of country (Veldtschoen, er, pebble) and a little bit of city (82 last):

^Very nice boots, but they don't look like veldts from this angle, mate.

I initially thought it was just a regular welt but from closer inspection it looks like the uppers are sewn over the welt (here is a closer pic):

Of course I could be mistaken but clarification would be appreciated. Crat, you have a pair of this model in the 64 that are veldts right?
