For dark oak I typically use neutral cream, then neutral polish.

While we're on the subject, which Saphir products do you gents recommend for Burnt Pine?

I'd use mid brown. Not a big fan of neutral tbh.

So fellow EG enthusiasts, I am trying to put together a shearling-lined Galway MTO and present it to Leaves for potential delivery in the fall. We already have 3 confirmed forum members, so we only need 3 more. Please PM if you are interested. Specs are as follows (let me know if I missed anything):

82 Last
Galway Shearling Lined Boot
Midnight calf lower
Navy suede Upper
360 degree flat welt
Matching eyelets and speedhooks
dark brown welt and edge trim
Dark Brown Dainite sole

Here is a great example of how gorgeous this boot is:

And the shearling lining looks as follows:
Galway MTO, anybody interested?

It has repetitive images of the same basic styles, correct I don't know what I want which is why I asked for ideas.

I understood the purpose of this forum to share ideas and help to educate one another. I have no desire to justify anything to anyone. Certainly there isn't a need for condescending comments. Quite often people post individuals make ups that I simply wouldn't have thought of, that's all.

you are right, the purpose of this forum is to share ideas and help educate one another. and this thread is at its best when members contribute. judging from your posts, you just consume knowledge without much contributing. if this was bespoken_pa.net, you'd have 1 poster asking aimless questions after more aimless questions. even your initial request required a follow up post just to understand what you wanted.

I lack the experience of many on the forum, so yes I am learning. In regards to contributing I did so earlier in this thread, in addition I have posted numerous PSAs regarding items others I knew were looking for. I help when I possibly can. Unless I'm sure regarding information, I don't pass it on. Additionally quite often people communicate via pm outside of the general forums. I'm sure at one time every member was new to the board. Before someone can educate they first have to learn. Certainly learning is advised before advising others how to proceed with their decisions.
