Looks like a loafer version of the 888 accurate?
Hmm I don't know for sure but think this is a dedicated loafer last. I have 888 and doesn't really feel too similar

On another note any of you guys have eg pair which squeak ? I have many eg but this pair is the only one that squeaks during flex , both shoes. I'm wondering if anybody's experienced this and if so found a solution ?

Is midnight blue a blue-ish grey? Because It doesn't look pure blue, and sometimes has a greyish/cloudish patina

Do you wear the same size in both?

Galway Day.

yes,Burton same in both although if i had it to do over again would go up to marked E in both, but polo EG to my knowledge is only marked D.
The 101 seems to taper more in at the toe whereas the 888 is also elongated but stays more square out through the toe is my impression.

Has the 101 broken in for a more comfortable fit after some wear?

yes it has, a lot like my other EG D width models
I do have a slightly frustrating foot with narrow heel and fairly wide forefoot so that makes loafers tricky for me.
But these are getting pretty comfortable- I wore them all day today with a little pressure in bunion area but not too bad.

Does anyone know of a maker of wooden display grade shoe boxes? I love my Galways and I'd like to store them in something equally luxurious. Picture a watch case for an example of the kind of thing I mean

Am I the only person that fancies something like this!?

@ Steveabdn.... Google for "shoetrap". Very nice wood boxes with glass doors. They look like a shoe garage.
