Thank you all for the nice words! I did a standard polish on the whole shoe and for the high shine, I essentially did what's in Crat's video but with water, not spit:

Do you think you could get EG to do a Shannon on the 888? I think that would be very popular here. It is the right last for the boot, but we have been told EG will no longer do it.

How about rosewood or burgundy with complementary smooth calf shaft and shearling lining? Perfect winter boot.

Rosewood country calf and almond country calf are two of the standard Galway models in stock on Jermyn Street, too...

Those rosewood ones linked above may be in an F-width as they're proper field boots, like my Holland & Holland Galways.

I'd be in for a shearling-lined veldt boot for next winter if the makeup was right.

I've got a pair in chameleon and green suede. Absolutely love mine, much more versatile than you'd think too.

That's good to know that the almond country calf is standard. Man I wish I my travels go to London and not... Grand Rapids, MI...

I was fortunate enough to meet Hillary and Hercules and both recommended that I consider the Chameleon and loden suade. They had a Inverness in Chameleon that looked incredible as well.

Does anyone know definitively whether the Rosewood Country Calf Galways at Westley Richard's is an F width?  It's also worth mentioning that Leffot has a version available in mink suede and walnut country calf that is shearling lined:

CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 90

P.S. - Is it just me, or is £655.83 ($1059.62) ex-Vat and including shipping from Westley Richard's, attractive compared to U.S. retailers?

Yes they are on the 64 F last, I checked with them today.

So for those of us wearing E width does it make sense to go a half size down ie from 11E to 10.5F?
