I believe that is the pair that I ended up with. Beautiful boots that I just wore a few days ago for the first time in months. Hazel color on the 202 last.

Not a huge fan of the socks but everything else looks great, particularly like that jacket

I have 888's in
UK9E
UK9.5D

I have 82's in
UK9D
UK9E

They all fit fine; however the 82 in UK9D is quite snug (it is a balmoral), but no doubt wearable.

I would say UK9E in 82 and 888 work best for me.

Both on the 82 last, sorry our stock manager is off today but I will find out about the eyelets.
Burton, you are very patient gentleman and thank you for the kind words!

Speaking of Shannons, wearing my pair today in rainy MI:

Uni, do you have a sample of "lavagne" and how close is it to the the color of those in my pic?

Thanks for the info. I tried the UK9D in the82 last in both a balmoral and a single monk.  Both felt too snug for long term wearable comfort.  I'll have to see if I can find UK9E or UK9.5D in the 82 for comparison. As it stands, I wouldn't trust the UK9D - particularly in a boot fitting.

DD - those are absolutely fantastic.

Thanks Roger! For reference, I wear the same size in my 888 and 82 (6.5/7E) in boots and shoes. I've tried D and they are snug for me.

Yes, I'm pretty sure an E width would work on the 82 for me.

Do it! I really do not need another pair of Shannons... I would like something in navy or slate though... maybe GALWAYS? icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Galways? It takes absolutely no prompting at all for me to trot out this pic. :D

I think we each own half of a perfect two-boot set.

Love it!

I have yet to get my first pair of Galways. Maybe next season.
