I'm not now really experiencing what it means to wear Edward Green...

I look forward to my first MTO boot order, maybe later this fall.

I hate reading sizes about Galways on this thread because I placed an order earlier this year for a pair thats due in 2 months and im doubting my sizing. So much so that I have to reassure myself what I ordered and why I ordered it. I guess ill see when they come in.

1/2 size down from your normal size is the standard

Patrik from Skoak said to go 1 full size. I am a US10, wear GG 9.5E in the TG73 last
9.5D in Marlows
9.5-10D in Bontoni.
Carmina Simpson and Forest in 9UK.

that would be on the small side for me but iirc you have a narrow foot so it might work out. what size and width did you order? and which makeup???
I have a somewhat medium width.

Specs:
Dark Oak/Mink Suede
82 last
Dainite Soles
Visible eyelets

I also got fitted for some Aldens on the Aberdeen last for the shell no8 NST shoes and the 9.5D was pretty good but the gentleman fitting me said to go with 9.5E.
Worst case scenario is that I get them stretched out a bit right?

I also should add I had the Westminsters on the 888 last in 9.5 and 9 and both seemed a bit big. I had a ton of heel slippage in both and I could slip the shoe off my foot with both buckles fastened in the 9.5

My money is on the boot fitting you. The boot is most forgiving and EG is soft and maleable

How are you liking your pair? Man I love Galway. So comfortable and the unlined shaft is a nice touch

I'd be careful with stretching shell, make sure whoever does has experience with it. When I ordered my galways I was told to go with the same size as my 202. Like I mentioned in an early post I added a full insole so I'm hoping I should be good to go. I should have mine in January or maybe even December.
