Belgravia? Beautiful shoe. :)

I have shoes on the 888E/F and 202D lasts. I didn't size down for the 184E, and I don't think I could've done so either.

Good luck with your purchase!

I have only tried the 82 on a long time ago and remember it to be not quite as snug for me as the 888, therefore I would say the 184 is slightly more sleek/narrow than the 82.

Little late on this, but FWIW, I find I take the same size for all EG lasts - including the 184 - except for the 888. I go down half a size from my US size. You might want to be careful about width though, as slip ons obviously can't be adjusted like lace ups. If you're comfortable in your regular EG width, just go with that.

184, 606 and 202 is supposed to fit about the same but slipper lasts are, as someone already pointed out, a bit special in fit although the 184 is supposed to have been compensated for this.

Do you take a bigger size in 888? Narrower? Wider?

What particular aspect(s) of the fit (e.g. toebox width? toebox height? forefoot width? etc) makes you need the different size for the 888?

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience purchasing EG's at Edwards of Manchester? They have a 20% off sale going on (ends today) but EG has informed me that they are no longer an authorized vendor.

I bought a pair of Chelseas, and waiting on two more pairs from the sale.

Their service is great and offers good discounts.

here is our thread on the store.

Where from EG told you that information?

I emailed EG directly. They said that they have had a limited amount of shoes in the past, but have not supplied them for some time.

Jas0nt just pm me to let me know that EOM is getting a shipment of EG next week, when he spoke to Mark form EOM.

I would recommend you take advantage of the discount and make the purchase.

Very odd...

Just placed a C&J order from EoM. If they don't have your size in stock, they'll still honour the sale if you're willing to wait.

I placed an order so I hope it's legit. I'll also mention to Mark what EG said.

They are definitely legitimate, but let us know on what Mark says, he usually get back you pretty quickly.

I told Mark about it, he seemed pretty shocked.

I only have one pair of shoes in the 888. It fits a bit narrow in the toes, whereas all my other EG shoes fit the same in size. I haven't tried a different size in the 888, but if I were to buy one, I'd probably play around with sizing to see if I can get a more comfortable fit.

FWIW, I have the 202, 606, 82, 888, 184, and 64.
