I know the Dover is meant to be a more casual shoe but I would wear an all dark oak pair with suits as well - pretty versatile.

I have the dark oak Dover, and while I have not worn them with a suit, they could quite easily be so worn.

Agreed.  I wouldn't hesitate to wear dark oak Dovers with a suit.
