Very good idea Leaves, get some also made with a dainite rubber sole , rosewood country calf and dainte rubber sole an excellent combination for this shoe IMHO and they will fly off your shelves!
I personally am not found of the dainite sole but with the 888 last I do not think the Ridgeway or meadway sole would look good.

There are so many other cool leathers out there it would be great to switch it up a bit. Like maybe brown Utah or coffee suede?
