Haha, no worries as it's not mine! I bought these from Leatherfoot. They are on the H/AF sole and the 606 last.

Forgive me for this shameless shill shog[1].gif

I am selling a pair of 202E Chelseas in DOAK in UK7E, I had recently repurchased the exact same shoe but then in the correct size for me, these were too big for me I wore them with a removable insole for some time. They have been recrafted once by Edward Green not too long ago, so they have plenty of life left in them. The bid price is currently only at 112.50 US$, so not even half for what I payed for the recraft, so if they are in your size you have a chance to get them pretty cheap.

The ad says it is the Eton model. That and the Harrow are more or less identical, but one has a slightly longer vamp. I forget which one was the Wildsmith model. In any case, this last is not what they used for Wildsmith.

I'm even thinking of getting a pair of these-- or a similar model from a bespoke maker-- in black, for those winter days and evenings when I'm wearing dark grey flannel trousers with whatever tweed jacket. I don't always want to wear the darkest browns in the closet, and black oxfords aren't quite the thing, either, unless you include full brogues.

The main decision is whether to stay on the elegant side and go for calf, or opt for the hatch grain or something similar.

I suggest country calf, Delapre, Utah, Willow calf, or Zug in black to fit the bill. Country calf or Utah Dovers do look great.

Good Morning

i have recently acquired a pair of old EG  loafers, they are made from Elk skin,

i believe they are 15-20 years old but i am struggling to find anymore information regarding them?

Anybody seen or heard of a similar pair, the leather is beautiful, not sure if i should be using a special polish?

any help / info would be much appreciated, i have tried emailing EG  but didn't get a response.

Dover in White Country Calf

Rained all night with flash flooding in the area. Felt like a proper day to break out these (rosewood cc, 202, dainite) for their maiden voyage
