Whew. For a second there I thought we had the exact same boot. I'm glad you chose to run your crup up the facings. :thumbs-up:

Just got an email from @andrewmrsid that I've got these beauties below ready to be picked up.  I've been in search of a versatile mid-/light-brown shoe that I could wear with sportscoat / wool pants as well as jeans --- an excellent travel shoe.  After considering the Wells and Bordon, as well as some Enzo Bonafes, I decided to go advanced MTO to get exactly what I wanted --- an unadorned cap toe derby on an almond last.  These are in burnt pine on the 82, with a specific adjustment for me.  Bought enough shoes to know that when you know what you really want, you'll end up regretting not getting it.

Can't wait to get these babies on my feet!  Thanks Andrew for the great service!

I think I returned just in time after a brief hiatus! Just picked up my two new boots for the fall/winter thanks to @andrewmrsid. My apologies for the poor photo quality :) (didn't want to upgrade to the new iPhone).

Left: 82 last shannon boot in burgundy calfskin with dainite sole

Right: 82 last galway boot in dark oak calfskin and walnut country calf upper with dainite sole

How have you all you gentlemen been?!

Congrat! It would be great if you could snap a photo of these two side by side on a natural daylight so we could see a shade difference in current batches between the burgundy and dark oak ..
