He probably frequents style forum. Maybe he followed your post and somehow found out you size and ebay user name

We already have 3 confirmed forum members, so we only need 3 more. Please PM if you are interested. Specs are as follows (let me know if I missed anything):

82 Last 64 last
Galway Shearling Lined Boot
Midnight calf lower
Navy suede Upper
360 degree flat welt
Matching eyelets and speedhooks
dark brown welt and edge trim
Dark Brown Dainite sole

Here is a great example of how gorgeous this boot is:

And the shearling lining looks as follows:

So it turns out that EG will only do shearling-lined boots in the 64 last, which is truly unfortunate. I am not a fan of the 64 last, so I am out, but if others are still interested, happy to continue to shepherd the MTO to completion. Don't want to abandon what I started. Let me know. Thanks,

They do make a lot of drama over at EG but I have to respect that....they say a principle is only a principle if it costs you money.

These are real beauties!

They are red Dianite soles and they look spectacular. Certainly one of the more fun EG shoes around.

PSA alert. Ending soon on ebay is a pair of vintage, used EG (branded as Carroll & Co) kiltie loafers size 9.5 C.

I wrote the seller and confirmed that they are on the 184 last.

Please note that I am not affiliated with the seller and cannot vouch for him. Posting just in case someone has an interest in EGs for <$50.

If the vendor steps in, you may have more success getting the last you want.

Leaves from Skoat.... reached out to EG and they told him they wouldn't do it on another last. Do you think that we could push harder? Seems nonsensical policy-wise.

Given the bulkiness of the shearling leg, you'd probably need a bulkier last to make the pattern work...

I'd rather it was in the 82 Last myself as well. However then again I could do without the Shearling also.

Please let me know what you have decided to do.

I just got my westminsters on the 888 last. I had originally gone with the 9.5UK and they were too big so now I got the 9UK and they feel comfortable but still having heel slippage on just one foot. I guess once they break in a bit they will be better.

My main concern is that will they stretch because they feel comfortable now but if they stretch it might be too much.

I think this is the way with EG MTO these days. Leathersoul intimated the same thing, that's why I went with St Crispins for my RMCH shoe.

I've not noticed much stretching so hopefully that won't be an issue.

So I wore them on the tile in my house ready to leave and had to switch my shoes.
