The external measurements are quite big for a UK 9F...

The shoe does not have any special welt that would account for this.

External Measurements are :

Length

(312mm)--- 12 5/16"

Width at widest point
(113mm)--- 4 1/2"

Awesome sauce boots.

Conflicting information, probably best to stear clear.

I dont think I ever got around to taking pics of these modified Cardiffs for RLPL (model name Braylon - RL seems to be big on removing medallions from EGs standard offerings) - although I may have circulated the pic that the SA originally sent me.

removing the medallion is often wise.

^^^I like it both ways but it definitely works without as well.

I wonder if Edward Green will ever set up a web retail operation. That would make life a lot easier.

Get the staples direct from them. And the more interesting/daring make-ups from the other sellers who choose to stock them.

I recently received an email from an ebay seller that said they could get EGs for like 549GBP shipped. Not sure if that price is competitive these days.

That's basically how much regular sales are, from my experience. Nice to have the open offer, however, so you're not having to look for deals. Is there a way to find out the name of the seller from you?

Sausages (Bill). He sends me periodic emails when he gets something in my size; 12.5E which is great because that is generally a MTO in that size.

Same with me - good Seller though not significantly cheaper than either Jermyn St ( or Leffot).

But the sole seems pretty high, no? I wonder how they will look on.

I could see picking this one up soon for vacation. Far more practical and comfortable for walking than a Tod's driver, that will wear out in one summer.
