X-post. Thought the rosewood Newmarkets were looking particularly nice in the morning light today.

Any thoughts regarding the Burnt Pine Antique Calf on a Oxford/Derby makeup at the present?

Not sure about the versatility anymore .. They appear to be more of a Spring/Summer colour, though I believe the EG antique effect is possibly best noticeable on this leather .. Would be great if someone has a pair to post a photo or two .. I believe this leather is among those least discussed on the board as well ..

Picked these EG Elmsley's in the Leffot Sale over the weekend. They are burgundy antique calf, on the 82 last with a rubber sole.

The Burnt Pine is a nice looking leather, I would say appropriate for Spring/Summer and Fall..... I have a pair of Galwats in Burnt Pine/khaki and have no issue wearing through the Fall.

Wow, burnt pine is darker than I thought. I'd wear that year round.

Burnt pine is an excellent color. Medium brown with yellow undertones.
