Happy Friday gents!

Looks like some more shell cordovans have arrived at EG !

We are thinking of running a pre-order for the 'Duke' Unlined Penny Loafers in Dark Burgundy Crup (and possibly with Whiskey Crup with 6 or more interests)

CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 85

Price won't be as high as the shell Galways but somewhat reasonable ;)

Kindly send us an email or PM for any additional questions!

Cheers!

Steve

They'll do that kind of toe in shell? I was told that Dover, and the Wildsmith Eton/Harrow slipper were out of the question because of the stitching involved.

Dark Burgundy in shell or calf?

The stitch vs reverse stitch is a different animal.

The Duke model does not feature sewn apron (pie crust) like Dover / Harrow

Burgundy shell :)

What happened to the Borrowdale? Have they been discontinued?

Is that a split toe in shell?

I've learned that my newest pair is a prototype that Edward Green had made up some years ago. At least it's not available in their RTW collections.

Black and white summertime calfskin adelaides, no toe medallion, last 82. The black leather looks superb and had a clear shine even before polish.

Just a quick question, how do you tell if an EG is a subs/seconds? Is there a stamp on the shoe?

There is usually a B in the same area as the sizing.

Also if you have the box it will be a darker green.

Don't think that's always the case. Bought two pairs at the factory shop last year and one come with the dark green box and the other with the normal EG green box.
