Hmm, there is that - I only have Ridgeway soles on 64 last Galways, so there is a more substantial boot behind it.

Any idea where can I get my hand on the standard galway, Doak with mink suede in 82 last in 7.5uk?

I know Edward Green website is stocking them but there is a wait time. Will love to get it as ready stock.... Either new or used is fine for me....

Brooks brothers. Wait for a corporate sale and have at it!

Definitely consider Burnt Pine as well. I find it is superior to Edwardian and Hazel in many circumstances.

Congrats!

Trying to convince myself to grab those Doak Newmarkets on 82. What's stopping me is Ridgeway sole. Might be a no go just because of that. What I'm thinking instead is go for same boots in either Hazelnut or Edwardian Antique with Danite.

Decisions, decisions..

It wouldn't be the most practical color but Edwardian Newmarkets would be amazing. It's such a striking color with the EG burnishing and the plain front of a chelsea boot would really show it off.

Trying to convince you so I can live vicariously. smile.gif

Reminded me of this.

Mahogany CC on Whiskey Shell Cordovan. H/AF sole, sunken taps, 82 last, EG green lining to commemorate the MTO.
Just lovely- the contrast between the CC shaft and shell on the rest of the boot is great.

Any #Brexit-inspired EG purchases with the pound potentially falling?

Total freefall. 10 year low. Also DOW futures are down nearly 4%.
