Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy - Page 1821

Looking closely at the picture it's also a D width, so narrow. It appears as a sale although I'd be concerned about the longevity... but I guess if it's <$100 that wouldn't be too much of an issue.

How would yall say EG fits compared to Gaziano & Girling. I heard that EG can be less snug of a fit. Is this more comfortable?

Hmmm... This could be a very expensive answer... It depends on your feet and last I think, but seems that GG runs a little narrower overall.

I wear 10.5 G in all GG lasts. For me the EG 888 last in the same size had maybe a touch more toe box space and a more voluminous heel. However, the lining had a better feel IMO.

I was looking for a split toe boot and Nevis is looking one of the best there (or may be as good as Alden Ravello NST boot). But I haven't tried any EG shoe before and not sure of sizing  on 606 last . I have read through previous comments on sizing in this thread and looks like I should take UK 9.5 but any additional advice will be helpful.

Here is my sizing info in other brands -

Carmina Forest - UK9.5

               Detroit - UK9

C&J , 341  - UK 9.5

          325 - UK 9 ( snug but comfortable)

          Peal & Co. 240 last  - US 10D ( comfortable)

AE 65 last ( strands) - US 10E ( comfortable)

Alden Barrie - US 10D (9.5D is snug, I probably need 10C)

Aberdeen US 10E ( 10.5D  also works, but feels little longer)

I know that online sizing is not accurate but I don't have any retailer near by to try these in person. thanks

I would avoid buying unless you can try it on first. I am concerned that you take 9.5 in 341 CJ last. According to that you would need 10 in Nevis.

Thanks laufer, I'll be in NY in Aug and may get the opportunity to try this in person there, but Aug is far...:embar:

341 last fits me really well, but I can't go any longer than that at all. Would you say, UK 9.5 in 341 should feel same lengthwise as UK10 606?

It is very difficult to say that, I would be doing disservice by guessing. Patience is the virtue, now is the time to be patient and wait until August, believe me it will be worth more than thousands of online advises.
