Thanks man! I really learned a lot from the posts here and lurking a lot.

Got a notification from Steve that 2 of my EGs should be ready by July and August icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gificon_gu_b_slayer[1].gificon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Also am getting a chelsea on the 202 as opposed to the 82 which I couldnt fit unfortunately

The 202 does not get a lot of love on SF. However, the 202 is an excellent and traditional choice that is far from blobby in many cases. Also, it tends to be more comfortable for many gentlemen compared to the 82 and 888.

Agreed, and I wore it with my Isaia suit which is one of my narrowest legs but it still fits proportionally well. I love the 202 and I will continue to buy that last and if a shoe doesnt come on it then ill MTO it because it feels so good

Glad there is now some love showing for the 202 last finally. I have always said the 82 last looks beautiful but sadly the fit is not for every feet.
The 202 E last is the classic English flagship last from Eg IMHO.

My most comfortable EGs are probably my Newmarkets on the 202 D. They fit like a sock.

Glad the 202 last also worked for you. The importance of comfort and fit is something I have come to realise with age. You need to find a shoe with the last that fits your individual foot.

There is a reason the 201/202 lasts have been popular for so long. Comfort and classic style make for a beautiful and versatile shoe.

This I discovered when I am working and walking at work I need comfortable shoes and I could be in my EGs all day with no problems

Every time I wear these I wonder why I don't wear them more (888 last, chestnut Ashby).
