Those are stunning! The color and burnishing are top notch.

I was dead set on the Newmarket but the more I see pictures of them in the wild the more I think the GG Burham is more my speed. Newmarket's and denim seem to be the preferred pairing but how do they pair with dress trousers?

Justin just give me a couple weeks...I'll lay some heat on the GG thread for you. smile.gif

I don't wear dress trousers often but can try to snap a quick picture for you if you're interested.

Please don't go out of your way...but if you ever get the opportunity in the future I could certainly appreciate the post. I'd love a chelsea boot with the versatility to transition from jeans to the office. I realize that's subjective...A lot of people wouldn't dare pair the Galway with a suit.

Well..."Some men see things as they are and ask why...I dream things that never were and ask why not"

I had a pair of Chelsea boots from Carmina which I liked however I didn't care for the look with trousers.

My goal is to reinvigorate enthusiasm into that thread if only for your viewing pleasure. I have a handful fresh GG offerings headed my way...I'll tag you. lol.

I've got some real heaters for this thread down the line as well! 2016 started off real MTO heavy with 3/4 makeups that have never been done as confirmed by EG.  Strictly DADT until arrival. :)

Thanks guys! I saw a photo of the Oundles many years ago online, and that was what got me into shoes. 5 years later I see them on half price in Oslo, couldn't let the chance slip!

Guess I was wearing a wrongly sized Edward Greens all the time or the new resin last is a game changer.

To cut the story short, my John Lobb and Crockett Jones size is a UK 9 E. I bought a pair of Chelsea in UK 9.5 E some time ago but they always felt kinda loose at heels.

After reading @MrVenneri post about his resin last experience, I decided to pull the trigger on a 82 F fit Chelsea last in size UK 9. And WHOA, what a hit. They feel like a bespoke pair and far more comfortable than Lobbs or Crocketts.

The quality and leather of these is unbelievable. I guess it's the most versatile style you can get.

So, from my experience these are an amazingly fitting US 10 D.

Now,  being the moron I am sometimes I may sell these and buy the same pair on 202 last as I am obsessed with the rounded toe though my friends are saying the 82 is far more handsome than the blobby 202.

A quick dirty room photo.

P.S Now selling these to finance my 202 Chelsea. LoL. These are coming with Original Lasted EG trees. Check the BUY&SELL Section.

202 last blobby, my God you have friends with very dainty feet!

202 is the classic English last for EG this is the last from which the 82 last derived from later, anyway if the 82 last works better for you why not, comfort is first as you will learn when you reach my age LOL.

Herresko > Edward Green > Read More (will open up greater list of EG's)

Much like Skoaktiebolaget, I'm unable to pronounce Skomakerdagestad. I also can't understand a a single word on the Skomakerdagestad website...but I can attest to Stefan's level of customer service, it's simply top notch. Stefan is prompt, professional, polite and I have thoroughly enjoyed doing business with him. Additionally he corresponds in impeccable English! I would not hesitate to purchase from him again and plan on it.
