Fits me just fine.

I have been wearing a pair of second hand E64 Galways for the past several weeks, and I have found the toe box to feel cramped, while the rear part of the boot is too roomy (wide). An insert has taken care of the extra room in the rear of the boot, but has made the toe box a little more cramped. I can still wear the boots spending most of the day on my feet, no problem.

The fit of these boots has me wondering if I'd do better with a half size larger and a narrower width (D64). But comments about the 64 last in the previous few pages of this thread have me wondering if I should just look for Galways on a different last.

Alderley on 72 last. [IMG]

I think the Alderley looks better on the 202 and also a lot better in more traditional shades of brown or in burgundy. If I were to get a pair, they would be on the 202 in Rosewood CC.

@justinkapur Great job!!  I know that you feel you might have gone a bit too heavy with black polish on the toe.  But, I disagree:  you did not go too heavy at all on my opinion, and, the effect you obtained looks darn good to me.  As mentioned before, i sometimes seek this effect by using slightly darker shoe paste on lighter leather.  These shoes are looking just great!
