Was just about to post this. Event is from 2 PM to 8 PM. I might stop by, to look not to buy. biggrin.gif

On a side note, does anyone know why trunk shows are generally during the week rather than the weekend? Seems like stores are saying goodbye to a lot of potential business with this schedule. I can't make it to Leffot during the week, but can try to go on a Saturday if I really like the shoemaker.

Doing a weekend is super difficult for retailers. People have plans and don't want to shop. Weekends can have a lot of walk in traffic and can focus too much attention to customers not shopping. Much easier to have an elevated one on one during the weekdays.

Hello guys,

May I ask for your opinion on what are most beautiful colours for delapre/utah?
Will you prefer delapre over shell?

Am thinking of purchasing my very first EG in Galway smile.gif

Thanks a lot for your opinions!

Personally I still consider the Doak Calf and Walnut CC the essential Galway.  But if that's not the case in your mind then I think it more important that you pick the combination you like the best because after all your the one who is going to wear them.

If you are into Delapre/Utah then Gold is not a bad choice (Utah is the printed version of Delapre)

Navy is more versatile, but not as impressive as Gold IMO, really depend on your wardrobe and how you plan to wear them

I really like the rigidity and support of this pair of Dovers on the 606 last (8.5 E uk).  I am still  breaking them in but I am sure this last will be one of my best fits.  Question for those who know well GG Vs EG: would you say that GG MH71 last is the closest in shape to EG 606?.  If so, should I size up .5 on the MH71 and go for an F width?.  Many thanks.

Mind elaborating on what to wear with Navy dovers? I am still so hesitant on what to wear with my pair :(

Any input would be greatly appreciated :)!

Any shade of grey will work.
