Quick question @RogerP:  Are your exquisite Galway in the Utah 'tan' leather like they have on Mr. Porter?

Mine were from Leatherfoot but the Mr. Porter ones look like the same shade of Utah to me.

606 last is one of my best bluchers comfortable fit.  I am sure they will last an eternity. Verry happy indeed.

Hello gentleman, what would be in your opinion the 5 most classic (wanted) styles of Edward green and the respective leather?

here is my list not in order (could be reviewed):

1 - Galway 82 doak+cc

2 - Dover 606 doak

3-  Chelsea 82 black (unsure)

4 - Shannon 82 burgundy antique (unsure if Shannon or Nevis)

5 - Dover 202 in tobacco.

2 boots, 1 oxford, 2 derbies.

Doubts: two similar styles  (dover) could be replaced by another suede model (cardiff?)

what are your thoughts?

I guess this is subjective, but, I would replace:

4 - Shannon 82 burgundy antique with a Sandringham 202 in black calf (utah navy or dark brown utah) on a dainite sole (to have to have sort of a sturdy looking brogue on my list)

5 - Dover 202 in tobacco with an Inverness 888 in burgundy antique

That'd give me 1 boot, 2 derbies and 2 oxfords.

1,2, and 3 are great standards for sure. I would certainly advise you to keep 3 on your list as one of the standards for any man and one of the best choices out there for this type of shoe. 4 and  are good choices but personally if I were to go with a split toe boot I would go with the G&G Thorpe on the MH71 Last instead.

I guess when selecting these or any others for that matter the more important question is whether or not these choices work best for you.
