Thank you sir.

On the pants, they can be had at Jcrew for $44. Not bad quality, fit, or finish considering the relatively low price-point.

Brown Utah with a couple of layers of polish

Hello gentlemen! I hope your start of the week was not too rough :)

Since I got out of work early, I decided to try my first attempt at the mirror shine. GlenKaren high shine polish is supposed to do quite an excellent job in doing this. Based off the results, I think this product is very good / I think I did an okay job at my first attempt.

Feedback would be much appreciated! My process was - water + a bit of polish, wait about 2-3 minutes, water + a bit of polish, wait another 2-3 minutes, water + tiny bit of polish, and finish with a buff water. Water meaning a small tap on the dispenser just to keep it damp.

Gents, would like to ask your opinion on the silverstone Chukka.

do you have any experience on the model? what do you think of the design compared to the other chukka models of EG or other makers (SC, etc)?

thank you for your opinion

I don't own a pair but I've checked them out in person and it's a pretty sweet chukka. Can't see a downside if you like the style.

I have not handled Silverstone in person but I have G&G Arran. Both models have unlined shaft which I find very comfortable in chukka models.
See the picture, the shaft around ankle is unlined.

However I have also seen Silverstone that is fully lined such as model from BB so need to make a decision what your preference is.

What makeup are you going for ? Suede or calf. I never really liked chukkas myself, until I saw the Skanklin on the 202 last. Bought it straight away. I believe the Shanklin is only made in suede though.

For a while I thought I wanted to be buried with my Galways now I think I'll be much more comfortable in my Shanklin's

These things are just awesome
