I like the idea of the 64 last, dark brown leather or suede or black leather (which I've never seen here), double ridgeway sole & veldtschoen.

Thanks in advance.

A bit expensive than skoaktiebolaget, but still in a very reasonable price.

Upper Shoes in France (which btw has always had maybe the best prices in EU for EG to my knowledge).

I have no personal experience with single MTOs to be honest. But it sure does sound like they will do it if you read this page:

BTW,

Now I am infected by the "Zug"-Virus. Some how i feel a want for Zug-Shoes, dunno how long this sickness will stay.

But RogerP's Zugs do look rosewoodish. He said it is because of the picture though. But Rosewood Zug in Veldtshoen... hmmm....

Country Calf is not as thick and waxy as Zug, I believe?

That is correct.

Zug is the only cure. LOL

Ok...Am I missing something here? After a bit of quick research  I'm seeing that the EG website has Galways for 1045 euros (minus VAT)...while Upper Shoes is selling the Galway for 1120 euros (minus VAT)...Of course 85 euros isn't much of a difference...I don't see shoe trees mentioned anywhere. are they included at Upper shoes? Perhaps I chose the wrong model as an example? or perhaps the prices with VAT are different?

The pound just dropped nearly 10% vs the euro. I'd expect that would be the reason, as I don't think the EG site pegs different prices for different currencies.

That might do it. Thanks for the info. I just did a quick conversion on xe.com and perhaps they aren't up to speed.
