both great. Montpellier is a nice full strap compared to the other EG strap pennies.

I noticed the newbury on leffot's website and wondered if it could be mto without the broguing on the toe. I have been looking at the cj alex as I couldn't find am eg equivalent. Additionally to get the alex in benchgrade would make the shoe almost 1300$ not including shoe trees. Thank You gentlemen

I would think so. If not Jermyn St. Would do it, and include trees.

A decent find (even if I say so myself!) with these Edward Green suede brogues sourced from the States, branded 'Trafalgar' and with the UK size hidden and replaced with the American size, written above.

Those are "old" Edward Green (presumably from the 1970s), before John Hlustik bought the run-down company as a going concern with all the debts in 1981 or 82 for one Pound Stirling..

The last 88 (Hlustik: "the great 88") was initially created for Foster & Son (don't know the year).

I, on the other hand, do not.

Might have been better as an oxford.

The "Cowes" is a variation on EG's classic "Windsor". The original Windsor sports a very extravagant medallion.

Some years back (when he was with EG) Tony Gaziano re-created the "Windsor" as a limited editon for the London Lounge, again with a medallion, different to the original:

Looks like the Sandringham without the peak. I don't like without the peak.

Ls had a sandringham in cognac crup that looked amazing they sold at even with the 2k hit to the wallet. Not quite sure if I was happy or sad about that?
