Second pair of Galways in less than a month. I'm surprised that I find the 64 last a little more snug than the 82. These are shearling lined, perfect for Canadian winters.

I can't think of a statement that I'd agree with more.

Nice boots!  I'm an 8.5D US, and I take 8.5/9E in my 64 lasted Galways.  I wear them with thick socks and they are perfect.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Congrats on the new addition!  I'm actually wearing the same pair today :)

I have been wearing them with regular dress socks due to the shearling lining, but thicker socks they would be pretty snug for me as well; size 8UK in E82 & E64.

Those must be really thick socks. What brand? I usually take a 9D US, got a UK 8.5 pair of Galways recently. I've tried them with Chup socks and they are still a little loose. I might try an insole.

Woolrich Big Woolly socks.  I also have long toes so I need the extra length .5 size up in the 64 last.

I can manage with medium weight socks. They're starting to break in a little and they feel quite comfortable. Must resist a third pair....

Good heavens.  It's not often that two pairs of EG boots arrive in the same week.  Okay it's never.  Until now.  This second pair I picked up from a fellow forumite.  I was on the fence that they were too close to my G&G Burnhams, but the shades are different enough (to me) that I am not concerned about duplication.

EG Newmarket in Hazel Antique - darkened juuuuust a bit by me on arrival.

I'm going to sell my EG's but need to know which size they are before i can do this, they are a kind of galway boot made for andersons on a ridgeway sole, the sole measures 32.5 cm in length and i'm guessing it's either an 11 or 11.5 UK?

The writing inside the oval has worn off completely.

Any tips or confirmation on approximate lengths?

Thanks.
