Nice. Yea get same size as your other shoes. I have tried other lasts and compared to the 202 i found the 888 actually same or roomier instep, same in the forefoot, narrower in the toes and more elongated. The 82 was just tigther in the instep, forefoot, and more elongated. I actually found the 82 the most cramped of all. But i would have changed sizes necessarily

Nice I love my 82 last suede Shannon. And have not tried 888 last but how bad it can be vs G&G tg73 last etc that's my other favorite G&G last.

Boring specs. I got all black calf, single leather sole, toe taps.
To wear with suits. 202 last

On the same order i have an all doak shannon, single leather etc... also for suits

I have not ventured into the combination upper/shaft make ups yet esp with the more dressy boots

The only severely noticeable difference in EG lasts I have noticed is the lenth of the 82, i really do not see the need to change width as I do not find it as narrow as some have speculated it to be.

I did also find the 888 noticeably longer, which would make sense since i think its based of the 82.
But yes other than that the overall volume is similar

Aesthetically I find the doak/walnut cc to be the most attractive but there is only one zug all other galways shall bow before the almighty zug.

I missed the train on the original zug (not the horween one that EG can theroretically source to make one now).
I think i am buying all these boots to make up for that miss.
