I am not sure honestly I just asked oak room gent for my size. But you may be correct just a guess.

How does a delapre leather feel? Is it a thick delicate leather which needs to take a lot of care or like a French version of chromexcel?

Thanks for your advice.

Me too.. No shipment update got me started worrying a little.. No reverts since last Monday after I sent the payment over. Perhaps there's really high volume.

In another note my Shannon boot on 82 last came in. And all I have to say it's total different animal. Give me better picture of why you gents love your EG boot's. Suede is insanely soft & supple, just love them biggrin.gif

Sent a PM today but haven't heard back. Not a complaint though, it is a Saturday and it's been about 12 hours since I sent it. I agree with those that haven't heard back in over 3 days, not acceptable as a retailer.

A week of no response? Maybe it's because of my age, but I personally believe these days anything longer than 12 hours to respond to a business email is unacceptable. Short of a life-altering event happening, I think anything longer than that is simply ignoring.

Maybe I'm just young and difficult though... wink.gif

Hey guys, where are you guys buying your galways/shannons? Also, I've read on here that the galways from the edward green retail site are cheaper than advertised. How much is a pair of galways delivered to your door in the states?

Thanks for your advice.

It doesn't take a shine like crust nor does it accept burnishing very well. Personally I have historically opted for the burnishe crust leathers as most delapres have a corresponding crust leather in each colorway.

I'm a lucky man. Off to London tomorrow and then home. Sorry, bud.
I packed a suitcase that would control spending...limited space. Thrilled about the boots though.

Big congrats on the Galways! Very nice indeed. What last are they on BTW? What size?

767 GBP for Galway. Plus shoe trees (75 GBP) and 40 GBP shipping, total should be 882GBP.
